Hannah de Bustos is a Senior Associate at Avante Legal. She joined Avante Legal in 2016. Prior to joining Avante Legal, she worked at Uría Menéndez, where she started her professional career in 2010.

Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration, with an emphasis on maritime, transportation and insurance disputes. Her professional experience covers all types of courts and arbitral institutions. Hannah regularly advises P&I Clubs, insurance companies, shipowners, logistics and transport companies.

Since 2014 she has been an Associate Professor of Procedural Law (Litigation) in the Business Law and Access to the Legal Profession LLM at the University of Navarra.

Hannah is regularly recognised in leading international directories. She has been highlighted as a Rising Star in Transport: Shipping by The Legal 500 (Spain, 2023 edition) and in Band 3 by Chambers and Partners (Europe, Spain, Shipping, 2023 edition).
